On August 7 & 8 Wilmington will be hosting a Sidewalk Sale downtown.  YMCA member and owner of the new downtown store “Next to New” has generously offered sidewalk space for the Y’s use for both days.  We’ll be collecting donated items (no clothes please) for sale downtown on those days with all proceeds going toward the YMCA.  For additional information contact Greg Law at the Y 382-9622.

Financial Plan for an improved Clinton County YMCA:
 - Review all outstanding balances of members & vendors
 - Review all current programs for viability, interest and financial ability to support
 - Partner with successful YMCAs for extensive staff training
 - Incorporate a Financial Oversight Committee to meet quarterly with board & staff
 - Responsible & disciplined payment of all outstanding debt by June 1, 2010
 

Facility Improvement Plan: A 43-month plan to improve and repair the facility has been submitted to Wilmington College to begin the process of fixing the roof, plumbing and electrical concerns of our facility.
